Position Objective

  • Generate revenue and add clients to the MICE vertical against an agreed annual target.
  • Manage designated key accounts
  • Responsible for meeting team and self target
  • Establish the MICE business vertical and manage the same
  • Generate and manage key business for the MICE vertical independently
  • Team management – Nurture and Grow a team and be responsible for the team and their targets

Responsibility

  • Front end clients, anchor key accounts, develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for Phase 1 against an agreed annual target
  • Responsible for driving the BD targets for self and the team and develop strategies towards achieving the same.
  • Establish and manage MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) vertical of Phase1.
  • Implement best practices after thoroughly understanding the components and trends of the MICE industry
  • Understand Client requirements, modification instructions, project brief & event objectives
  • Negotiate with clients & closing the deal
  • Act as a bridge between the Client and the Operations & Creative teams
  • Ensure prompt and systematic servicing of all business enquiries
  • Oversee end to end activities from lead generation to post event summary as needed to deliver flawless and memorable events
  • Work in collaboration with Client Servicing, Operations & Creative teams to grow the events business.
  • Set up, catalogue and manage data base of hotels and destination management companies, technology partners, entertainment partners across the globe
  • Manage a marketing team, nurture and grow them to work independently towards business target
  • Market Intelligence: Identify and analyse competition and stay abreast with the latest event

Client Management

  • Understand customer requirements and provide timely solutions accordingly
  • Build innovative strategies to retain key clients
  • Map key accounts periodically to ensure sustained focus on key account retention.
  • Handle escalations and delivery turnaround time appropriately
  • Ensure 100% Client satisfaction in every project execution
  • Leverage on client feedback and ensure continuous reinvention

Talent Engagement and Development

  • Work in collaboration with Talent Management in retaining high performers and fostering an open and transparent work environment
  • Provide support and guidance to team members
  • Actively participate in performance evaluations and feedback sessions
  • Conduct skip level meetings with the team
